How do I install the Chrome extension?+
Search for "Tome Robot Recorder" in the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome". After installing, click the extension icon in the toolbar and connect it to your workspace.
My recording won't start. What should I check?+
Make sure you're connected to your workspace (click the extension icon — if you see "Not connected", click "Connect to your workspace"). Also check that you're on a normal web page, not a chrome:// or extension page.
Can I record a window or my entire screen instead of a tab?+
Yes. Before starting a recording, use the source picker in the extension popup to choose Tab, Window, or Screen. Window and Screen modes use Chrome's native display picker.
How do I delete my account and data?+
Go to Settings in the Tome Robot web app, or submit a request through our privacy request form at tomerobot.com/privacy/request. We will process deletion requests within 45 days.
Is my data encrypted?+
Yes. All data is transmitted over TLS 1.2+ and stored encrypted at rest on Cloudflare infrastructure. Tenant data is isolated at the database layer.
Does Tome Robot work with any web app?+
Tome Robot records any web page you can open in Chrome. It works with SPAs, server-rendered apps, and internal tools behind your company VPN.
